Schema at SXSW
Recently Christian Marc Schmidt of Schema and Roxanne Kunz of Amgen traveled to South By Southwest (SXSW) to unveil Insight, our collaboration with Amgen, for the first time to the public.
“Understanding how genes influence disease is becoming a core focus for scientists designing new medicines to treat grievous illnesses. Analyzing the mountains of molecular data required to find the optimal therapy to positively impact patient’s lives is an ineffective and laborious process. To overcome these challenges scientists collaborated with a design firm to create Insight, a groundbreaking technology platform that helps scientists visualize massive sets of molecular data to more quickly find the “magic bullet molecule”. Join us to learn from their collaboration and the process of designing Insight via a human-centered design process, including a live demonstration of the tool.”
