New Work: The US-China FDI Project

We collaborated with Rhodium Group, a research firm in New York specializing on analyzing disruptive global trends, on a data visualization of US-China Foreign Direct Investments. The piece shows the investment flows between the two countries at the state and province level. Users can filter by industry or time range, as well as selecting specific states or provinces to see the detailed flows between them. The US-China Project utilizes Arrays, Schema’s data visualization platform.

A core element of the new site are a series of videos by Spirit of Space showing spaces in use.

Our collaboration with ChinaFile, “Catching Tigers and Flies,” launched today. ChinaFile is an online journal by the Center on U.S.-China Relations at the Asia Society. This interactive data visualization documents corruption under China’s leader, Xi Jinping, depicting the individuals under investigation along with their networks and inner circles throughout the government. The project pulls back the curtain on an important issue changing the face of Chinese politics.
